Tesla - User Interface Pitch |
View Case Study » |
||
Roundarch created a Adobe Air-Java system called Merapi which is used to control the interface in the Tesla Model S sedan. Tesla invited Roundarch to pitch some ideas for the interface. At the top of this concept, a contextual interface alternates between a Google Maps-driven navigation system, a car information module directory, and a few various input screens. At the bottom, the temperature controls and a collapsible media player would be fixed at the bottom of the interface. |

Chicago Metra - Pitch |
View Case Study » |

The Chicago Metra is one of two light-rail public transit systems serving Chicago. Of the two, the Metra is the system that is primarily based on Suburban ridership. The Metra sought the help of several agencies to pitch a new website that would help it increase ridership through a variety of new tactics. My direction for the website and iPhone app intended to use the Google Maps API to create a trip planner, an events and listings locator, and a page for ridership data visualizations. |

Food2 Corporate Website - Scripps |
View Case Study » |

The Food Network commisioned Method to create the branding system and website of it's new sister network to appeal more to a younger and hipper audience. The brand direction that was chosen was created by Dan Geva which centered around a visual language similar to Andy Warhol meets Barbara Kruger. Further brand development ocurred in the web design component of the project. I designed the direction chosen for the interactive component of the project. The crazy visual design style was meant to give Food2 an edge over the more conservative Food Network. |

Phillips de Pury Corporate Website - Pitch |
View Case Study » |

This project was a pitch to redesign the main corporate website of the most contemporary of the art auction houses. The idea was to create a place where Phillips de Pury can provide visitors with unique ways for discovering art, exploring the Phillips de Pury catalogue, and understanding more about specific artworks. Another purpose for the site was to create a cost-friendly alternative to the multi-page preview books that Phillips produces every three months in preparation to their upcoming auctions. |

Charlie Rose |
View Case Study » |
||
In my design direction, I tried to infuse the simplicity of the TV show and Charlie Rose's legacy brand with a more scholarly appearance. The idea was to bring the TV show to the interactive space by keeping the top part of the site prominently black where the show is the focus. All additional content is provided in the white section below this area. While there was interest in my direction, Charlie Rose's staff ultimately decided that a modern direction by Tomas Celizna was the right choice. |

Flagship Global Health - Corporate Website |

The project brief for Flaghip Global Health stated that Method would create a Logomark, some branding consultation and a corporate website. Although I took part in the logo design process, my logo was not chosen. My comp for the website, however, was chosen and I was the principle designer in charge of completing the site. The website portion of the project went though multiple variations before the design was finalized. The pink and gray sketch was the initial direction selected, but the site finally morphed to the green and white designs. |

Monolake: Imbalance Computer Music - Student Work |
View Case Study » |
||
Imbalance Computer Music is a 4-disc collection of four Monolake albums. Monolake's musical style is a mix of minimal and dark experimental ambient techno. The design style of this collection blends japanese minimalist design with randomly generated texture based imagery. Eletronic musicians often use video imagery in their live shows. I wanted to acknowledge this by designing a system where I could make ambient textures that could be used in an electronic music performance. |
